I was assisted by an excellent specialist, Elena. She provided detailed support and answered all my questions while I was waiting for my residence permit. I expected to receive a one-year permit but was granted one for three years. The processing time was also at the shorter end of the expected range — although that may depend less on the specialist, everything still turned out great. Their services were a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend them.

Obtaining a temporary residence permit was a challenging and sometimes stressful process, but thanks to the knowledge, professionalism, and dedication of the Migrant Expert team — especially the lawyer Kamil — everything went smoothly in the end. I’m very happy. Today I received the decision, and I want to thank Migrant Expert most of all for that.

Questions and answers

We’ve collected the most common questions and clear answers to help you easily find the information you need.

Visa-free stay in Poland is short-term and may not exceed 90 days within any 180-day period. Border officers count the days of a foreigner’s stay over the last 180 days. Within each 6-month (180-day) period, you may stay in the Schengen Area for up to 90 consecutive days or accumulate shorter visits that together do not exceed 90 days.
In the residence permit decision (based on employment), the employer’s details are listed along with the type of work the foreigner will perform, the scope of duties, and the salary amount. When changing employers, new documents must be submitted based on the new employment. After leaving the previous job, you must notify the Voivodeship Office within 15 days. You then have 30 days to find a new job.

A foreigner (a citizen of a third country) may enter Poland on the basis of a valid national or Schengen visa that allows entry and stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland, or under a visa-free regime.

It is a document confirming a foreigner’s legal status, allowing them to stay in Poland. In other words, it is a residence permit that grants the right to cross Poland’s borders without obtaining additional visas and to reside in the country legally.

Yes, you can, if your purpose of stay in Poland is employment. You must submit an application for a change of employer to the relevant Voivodeship Office. A new set of documents related to your new workplace must also be provided.

We help with obtaining all types of residence cards in every city across Poland. Our offices are located in Wrocław, Katowice, Poznań, and Warsaw.
Such documents include a visa, a temporary residence permit, and a permanent residence permit. In addition, foreigners exempt from the visa requirement may stay in Poland under the visa-free regime.
