Changing employer after obtaining a residence permit
On what grounds can you come to Poland?
A foreigner (a citizen of a third country) may enter Poland on the basis of a valid national or Schengen visa that allows entry and stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland, or under a visa-free regime.
What is a Residence Card and what is it for?
It is a document confirming a foreigner’s legal status, allowing them to stay in Poland. In other words, it is a residence permit that grants the right to cross Poland’s borders without obtaining additional visas and to reside in the country legally.
Can you change your workplace and employer during the legalization process in Poland?
Yes, you can, if your purpose of stay in Poland is employment. You must submit an application for a change of employer to the relevant Voivodeship Office. A new set of documents related to your new workplace must also be provided.
